A reflection of its natural surroundings, this residence in Bel Air, Los Angeles, epitomises the indoor-outdoor living that is so unique to California.

A neutral colour palette throughout offers a muted backdrop against which rich, elegant details have the space to sing; custom rugs made in Nepal coalesce with lighting and furnishings by Liaigre as well as bespoke joinery and wall cladding crafted in Italy. Key to this project was Nebihe Cihan Studio’s acquisition and curation of all displayed artwork and the integration of both sculpture and painting into the design of the space. Sourcing from a number of global galleries, including Kukje Gallery in Seoul, Lisson Gallery in London, Sean Kelly Gallery in New York, Galerie Krizinger in Vienna and Galerie Perrotin in Paris, art plays a key role in this multidimensional home. The conclusion is a compelling play on scale and form in a space that takes full advantage of its own stunning canvas of panoramic canyon, ocean and city views.
