Merging historical features with contemporary design accents, this residential project is a seamless balance of old and new, past and present.

A key element of the original brief emphasised the importance of the preservation of the home’s Victorian architecture. As such, architraves, cornicing and crown mouldings remain, smoothly integrated into a Parisian-inspired design concept, in a nod to the owner’s love of the city. A distinct richness is imbued throughout the apartment, by way of a light layering of distinct elements that reflect the owners’ travels and tastes. Vintage items sourced across London and Brussels, for example, feed rooms with mystery and expression, and are gracefully united with newer furniture pieces by the likes of Minotti and Baxter. Wallpaper by de Gournay, jewel tones and a selection of handpicked Italian marble complete the mood of luxe simplicity, for a timeless, sophisticated home with character.
