ABOUT
Nebihe Cihan founded her eponymous design studio in 2016 with a desire to create thoughtful, timeless spaces that transcend trends. Leaning into a penchant for high end finishes, exotic materials and natural stone, the designer’s residential and retail projects are united by an acute sensitivity for small details and the curation of seamless flows between the old and the new. Frequently working with historic buildings, Nebihe has an instinct for creating harmony between her interiors and iconic structures, smoothly pairing her contemporary vision with vintage accents. The result is a portfolio of rich, upscale designs that cultivate a distinct sense of luxury and sophistication.
Born in Turkey and raised in the United States, Nebihe was educated at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and is currently based between London and Manhattan. This global experience has enriched her vision and connects the designer with an unbounded network of talented artists, craftsmen and artisans, and continuously stimulates her ability to merge interior design with fine art. Since establishing her design studio, Nebihe has completed global residential projects for a number of high-profile clients, working with a diverse range of extraordinary spaces that include iconic buildings on New York's Upper East Side, sprawling estates in the hills of Bel Air and historic structures in London. Nebihe's varied portfolio additionally includes retail architecture projects for the flagship spaces of luxury brands in cities such as Milan, Paris and Melbourne, and her studio’s work has been featured in international publications such as Architectural Digest and Elle Décor.

With offices in both London and New York, and an extensive global network of suppliers, contractors and craftsmen, the studio is well-placed to create truly unique spaces that layer decorative elements sourced from far and wide. As marble experts and having cultivated relationships with factories and specialists in Europe, the design office delivers modern, soulful interiors often shaped by the bold application of rich natural stone. This is joined by bespoke furnishings, antique finds and stunning art sourced from across the world for high impact, effortless spaces informed by the same simple touchpoints: a curiosity for evolution, an emphasis on luxury and an eye for the unexpected.
It’s all underpinned by a boutique approach, where a proactive service by Nebihe and her team works hard to reflect the tastes and needs of each client.
