For this London project, Nebihe Cihan Studio was tasked with updating a first floor, west facing flat.

Untouched for over two decades, the project soon evolved into a full renovation, allowing for a fully cohesive overhaul of the interiors and the opportunity to create a series of new focal points and standout features. The space and client allowed for some bold choices and experimentation in the use of colour and materials, and the studio’s expertise in sourcing and applying high quality stone is evident throughout. The thoughtful but unexpected application of Brazilian quartzite in the kitchen alongside customised cabinetry by Arclinea and vintage fittings lends an antique element to the updated space, while in the master bathroom a similar stone appears on the walls and floors next to bespoke seating by the studio and lighting sourced from Italy. The result is an adventurous yet timeless space in which bold choices and high impact accents are effortlessly aligned in this modernised family home.
